Given the recent coverage on the rights of the citizen to photograph law enforcement and such there has been an increased media coverage on the rights of the photographer and whether or not it is legal to photograph law enforcement. One such article was featured today on the Georgia Straight website written by William Kowalski of PEN Canada.
It calls to mind a society in which the rights of citizens taking photographs are bent, battered and broken while giving a few examples of issues here in Canada between people taking pictures and law enforcement.
